Reprise

We returned to County Monaghan today, to have a second look at the property that started this third round of house hunting.  We've looked at quite a few properties since then, and none of them have been "the right house".  Today we met the owner, who is a plumber, and who was able to shed some light on the geothermal heating system.

The house isn't perfect, the bathrooms are distinctly ropy, because the water is really hard, and hasn't been softened.

But overall, it would work well for our needs.  And how can we NOT buy a house that come with a boulder in situ?
