concrete

concrete gets a bad rep. It's an ancient substance dating back to 5600BC, but it seems to be thought of as a sign of our modern times. It's not even as if the ancients didn't use it to make massive structures, including the chinese pyramids and more recently, the colosseum in Rome. I kind of like it and it's grey cold surface isn't half bad at catching the light...
