Interesting church restoration work
This little wooden church in Kaikoura has some scaffolding and clearly painters were at work. A local informed us that the work was being done by itinerant tradies who bring their own accommodation in the form of caravans and do the work for free. The church pays for the paint and materials and meals are provided.
