Hotel breakfast with pouring rain continuing again - and then a long ERASMUS meeting, which included a break for a nice lunch in the hotel. Was dark by the time we finished, and met up with Mariusz who lived in the city. Walked past this building which was the HQ of the Romanian Communist Party. The balcony in the middle is the place from where Ceausescu delivered his final speech before the revolution of 1989 - there are several monuments in the nearby square to those who died at this time. Had a lovely meal in a restaurant called Mace, which had definitely been designd to be Instagram-friendly. Back to the Christmas market by the Romanian parliament for mulled wine, and caught some of the Wales-USA match on big screens.
