Cherry Blossom in Scotland

For me, having lived in Japan for 30 years and accustomed to viewing cherry blossom (Hanami) in March, this photo opportunity in May was a gift. The location is Ravenscraig Park which was gifted to the community by the son of Sir Michael Nairn the linoleum manufacturers in 1929. The land had, for centuries, previously been in the hands of the St. Clair (Sinclair) - Jacobites with a peppered history.
