Tree Shapes

H and I met at the aptly named 'Pretty Corner Woods' this morning for a circular walk.  It was mostly cloudy but the sun did put in an occasional appearance and we enjoyed a sea view while we had our coffee on a convenient bench.

After lunch I spent two hours in the garden collecting leaves off the lawn and flower beds.  Not all the leaves are down yet so I'll be doing it all again at some point. It was enjoyable to potter around the garden in the fresh air.  Whilst I was out there a skein of Pinkfoot geese flew overhead calling to each other...magic moment!

We've enjoyed (?) nearly a week of the FIFA World Cup.  M has watched 3 games live out of the 4 that are broadcast each day and we sit down together to watch something different on the TV in the evening and he watches the highlights of the evening match the next morning.  So, although I'm not a football fan (except for watching the England/Wales games) we have been able to come to an agreeable arrangement over screen time.
