Good Cause(s)

The fourth Tuesday of each month brings the Falmouth Royal Naval Association branch meeting. Tonight we had a talk and presentation from a young Sea Scout, Lily who is from 6th Falmouth Sea Scouts, talked about having been selected to go to South Korea next year for the World Scout Jamboree and her efforts to raise funds to cover the costs.
Although nervous she did well and the members having decided at last months meeting to support her it left me as Branch Chairman to hand over the cheque.

The strong winds and lashing rain of the early part of the day followed the pattern of previous days and gave way to a breezy and mainly dry afternoon.
