At Heart

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

I went out for a walk today with Victor. He has arthritis in his knees and was a bit stiff getting into back the car. I asked if he was ok. “This getting older business isn’t easy,” he said quite matter-of -factly, “Just stay young.”

We were both silent for a few seconds before he added, “You’ll always be young to me.”

And my heart strings tugged a little.

PS not that I felt young today after getting accidentally hammered with Kitty Cat last night and having drunk emotional conversations!

Thankfully I had recovered by the time we headed up to Banchory and we had a lovely night up there with Albert and The Duke.
