At the Nelson Pub Burnham Market
At the Nelson Pub Burnham Market
This is our 19th year away around Christmas with Daughter Zoe and her family. This year we are staying at Nelson’s Barn in Burnham Thorpe. The barn is 20 yards away from where Lord Nelson was born in the Rectory. The Rectory is no longer there but there is a real sense of history around this beautiful area.
We walked to Burnham Market today. Just two miles from Burnham Thorpe and stopped for lunch in the Nelson Pub. The lady that served us was really great. Food was good too.
Sam was just born on our first Christmas trip away when we stayed at Brockdish in Norfolk in 2003. You can see him here on the ‘back Table’ with three other grandchildren Gemma, Aiden and Evelyn.
I always take more than one picture of groups as there is always someone blinking or looking the wrong way, OR as you can see in the cutout photo Sam has his tongue out which is a game Frances and Zoe have taught their children to do when I am taking photos.
I need longer arms or remember to take my selfie stick
