It’s That Time Of Year
............ when I have a bit of a sort out in the kitchen. Amongst other things, I found an unopened jar of mincemeat from last year that was a wee bit past it’s best before date and some ready made pastry in the freezer ( also from last year ) that was best before end of this month, so the next move was inevitable really.
I’m not a big fan of mince pies ( but hubby is ), so most of them have been frozen for a few weeks - but I did keep a few out for him as a reward for cleaning out all the gutters ........ amazing how much moss and leaves had accumulated - it’s only been a few weeks since he last did it ;-))
