The hum

This is the Swedish band, "Nynningen". There's no appropriate translation, it's a bit of a word game. 'The hum' is all I can think of. They formed as a socialist band in 1970, as did a lot of other bands those days but few have remained till this day. A couple of years ago, during Covid, they toured with one of our iconic actors, Sven Wollter. After some shows they had a two week break before the last part of the tour, it wasn't easy touring in those days, many concerts got cancelled or they had to play for very few people. During the break, Sven passed away in Covid, it all went very quick. Today the group is on tour with the same songs as then, to finish the job but this time as a hommage to their good friend Sven Wollter. 

Having played together for so many years, they delivered a very well produced show, very moving but also hopeful. After standing ovations we all went home feeling a bit warmer inside.
