The Old Bridge Inn, Ripponden
FRIDAY
I had errands to run in Elland this morning and in Ripponden late afternoon.
The Old Bridge Inn is a 700 year old, Grade II listed building which is approached via a pack horse bridge. There are some stocks just visible at the end of the bridge, but this is not the original site of the stocks. They were moved here in 1887.
I watched the Wales v. Iran match this morning and the England v. USA World Cup match this evening. Not very inspiring football.
