It’s the Moomins!

Esmée is familiar with all things Scandinavian, her mummy being half Norwegian. She had £4 to spend in her purse and was very precise about it. Nothing more, nothing less. Her cousin Sophia was very patient with her suggestions.

We’ve had a lovely day together, in and around Covent Garden, enjoying the Christmas trees and lights. It was busy and keeping everyone together quite a challenge at times. Théa looked out at everything from her “pouch” on Joff. Such a contented child.

The train strike meant we took the bus to Waterloo Bridge. Upstairs and front seats and the hour journey went quickly. Great vantage point. The families used the tube from North London. Milo was left at home today. A good decision.

An equally good journey home for us and news that both families were home too, made for a relaxed evening. We missed Andréa but her conference had gone well and there will be a next time. A bonus of a day and we’re very grateful.
