happy Saturday

We had a nice slow start to the day.. breakfast, long coffee and some crossword before attacking a few jobs in the garden. The final mow and moss clearing on the paths before winter sets in.  Having done that we had a short turnaround before heading in to Oxford where we met family and went to the Christ Church Advent Carol service.  It was utterly wonderful. The choir sang beautifully and the selection of hymns and readings was interesting.  This is the view of the tower over the entrance as we walked back across the quad.. out in the street the christmas lights looked lovely .. then on out to dinner in an Italian brasserie and home in pouring rain and floods... happy days
