Holyrood
Thought I'd go a bit abstract today. I had a meeting at the Parliament Building and had thought of taking a diversion to a graveyard on the way back to work, but poor light, flat skies, no inspiration. Then over the road from the Parliament I wandered into the Queens Gallery in Holyrood House. This light was in the wall outside. It is made of heavy green glass, circular with glass ribbing. I set the camera to aperture priority, f2 to get maximum bokeh, used the bright white wall to get some flare in the fade. The camera has a setting where it will take a B&W exposure but pick up any green - I used it. So this is the end result. Back to work, bus home, and here I am. Looking forward to finishing work for the weekend tomorrow.
