OK - own up - who cancelled summer ??

Just a few days ago I was walking around in shirtsleeves, getting sunburnt. What a change today - after a walk through town in a bracing wind I was looking forward to reaching the shelter of the trees in Park Lime Pits. Once there, and safely ensconced in a favourite spot beside the small lake, I was soon scrabbling in my backpack for the waterproofs, as the drizzle began.
The 5D was stashed safely in the depths of the bag, and I fired off a few shots in the rain, with the G12 . . . . .

Also managed to capture a shaky, long distance clip of a HUGE Heron
