Sunshine After the Rain

Funny ol' day.......sunshine this morning, though not very warm.  Outside to tidy out the shed (which is a bit overdue!) but after about an hour, the rain started.  Rushed to get things back into the shed without getting them too wet then back indoors.  And wouldn't you know it, after a reasonable rainfall the sun came out brighter than ever around tea time.  This has become one of my favourite trees (still rather small) and looked simply gorgeous with the sun streaming through the leaves.  Lucky enough to find a single drip that has produced a rather lovely starburst.  It's hard to believe we're only a handful of days away from the recognised start of summer when the temperatures can still be in the teens (about 16 degrees today when the rain came through).  Pretty sure we'll be bemoaning too hot temperatures soon enough though.
