Face-to-face

Went up to the old town on a 35, converging with Shandonner on a 35 from the opposite side of town, so that we could deliver a joint tutorial to some students - face-to-face! F went through functions, I did trigonometry. I enjoyed it (as did the students, although they went a bit quiet at times during the more daunting parts) but gosh, I'm out of condition in terms of live performance. I suppose it's about three years since I did anything that involved me standing up on my hind legs in front of an audience.....

Had a post-maths pint across the road in the Waverley with several of the students, which was an added bonus that doesn't happen with online tutorials. By the time I got back to Leith the daylight was almost gone.
