The Canny Man’s.

One of the most well known public houses in Edinburgh.
This bar has been owned by the same family since 1871 and has quite a history to it. 
I remember coming to Edinburgh in the mid 70’s and frequented it occasionally. The attraction then was that they had go-go dancers, quite an experience for a young naive Glaswegian like myself !! 
The chap who owned it had a reputation that if he didn’t like your face or what you were wearing you wouldn’t be served.
Must admit have not been in it for years. (No I wasn’t barred)
