There's a surprise

We set off this morning on the usual short route that we take if we dont have a lot of  time, knowing that this would take us past Peter , with his  family and four caravans, ensuring that we were certain of blips.
We didn't get that far, as we crossed the millpool there were these three
Little Egrets. There was no chance of getting a beter view point, this was the only one. In past winters I have seen a solitary  Egret around, never three.
When we returned half an hour later, they hadn't moved but had been joined by a Kingfisher flitting around and occasionally perching, but not close enough for pictures.
The caravans will be here until after Christmas,so there will be plenty  of blippertunities.
