Peach tree

Years ago one of us found a split peach stone in the compost heap and planted it in a pot in the polytunnel. Some years later an enthusiastic housesitter planted it outside, we don’t know why but hey ho, and some 7-8 years later this is how it looks. This year it had a few flowers, a first, I don’t think it’s a good idea to hold our breath for fruit? A few years later we started another, it’s now outside and looks fine.

Foraging in the compost heap is not necessarily a fun past time, we only do this when turning out contents of the bin to go on the garden, teaspoons are a good find with green scouters another.

Extra show little girl looking comfortable on a branch, she has that knack to look comfortable wherever she is.
