The redhead duck continues to elude me. It was at Sullivan's Pond yesterday, but could not be found there today. I did spot these 2 American coots this afternoon.
I was talking to another couple that was there looking for the redhead. They had just came from Shearwater where a snow goose is hanging out with the Canada geese.  By the time I got there, the geese had moved several hundred feet behind a chain link fence and with the direction of the sun, all I could see was silhouettes, I will have to keep trying.
A warmer day today and there was no wind. The temperature on the truck was registering at 12 C.
