Fundraising

With working yesterday it was my turn to help raise Rotary funds selling our donated tatties. Fortunately it was a lovely sunny day and the temperature wasn’t bad. 

My pitch was at the local Deer Centre while others were at 2 local garden centres. There was a constant stream of visitors, mainly families with excited little children coming to see Santa, and I had great chats with some of them while I tried to persuade their mums of the benefits of our bargain potatoes.

 I don’t know what some of them eat as a surprising number never seem to cook potatoes - anyway I went home and we had baked potatoes with two of the lovely large Roosters !
