Father and Son

Josh went to church with us this morning. So pleased he did. People were kind and welcoming to him. I’m sure many are aware of the bitter sweetness coming home is for him. He looked at and approved our Christmas play efforts! He is quite the artist. After lunch, he talked his Dad into going hunting with him. I was thrilled for them to have this time together. In the extras: mother and son selfie and the colored pencil drawing I’ve done of their dog for Sarah snd Logan. He flies out tomorrow. My precious cleaning lady will come while we are gone so the house should be clean when we return. All in all, it is as a great visit. I have encouraged Josh to seek grief counseling. He was receptive and does see the need. I pray he does it. Matt was an anchor for so many. xx
Looking forward to getting our tree up the next day or two! Jessica sent pictures of hers already up! Neither of us did that last year bc we were gone for Christmas. We plan to be home this year.
