Just a housewife!

A busy morning in the laundry and kitchen then an hour before lunch picking up stitches and knitting the back neckband for Darcy's jersey. After a quick lunch I  put on a Mediterranean beef casserole for dinner and then spent an hour in the vegetable garden, weeding and tossing the peas that had finished and turning all the soil over to aerate and expose it freely to the lovely sunshine we have today.
Following that , well...I couldn't just sit doing nothing so headed to the stitching cave and worked this piece of canvas with some pretty embroidery threads I'd had for years and whilst stitching, began listening to  "The Forest" by Edward Rutherfurd. It's begun well.
