Santa calls in Charing

Santa came to the village by Rolls Royce this evening and the church became a winter grotto. A brass band played in the square, mulled wine and hot dogs, baileys hot chocolate and mince pies were for sale.

The micro pub had a good crowd in and I bought some Christmas cards with art work by a local artist. The football was playing on the telly England and USA. I’m not a football fan but even I could tell it was a dull game.
