I would have got a lot of better shots of the COP27 Day of Action march if it hadn't been for all the photographers standing in front of the banner, particularly late on when they headed under North Bridge. I alternated between walking along with it and scootling ahead to pick out good spots to lurk and capture them as they approached. Through a quirk of timing I left Holyrood just at the right time and took just the right route to arrive within a few seconds of Nicky and Edgar when they arrived at the shed yard at Granton.
