New fence

I was driving back up the track when I saw this on the hill along from our house. 

I remember the helicopter dropping off the materials and indeed blipped it.   But I don't recall I the fence being so visible before, which I suspect was not only the light, but also the fact that little birch trees have lost their leaves , and the bracken around them has  now died back, leaving it  more visible. 

It was erected so that the hill beside us could be planted with trees but that hasn't happened yet.   Deer numbers are so great in Cowal that no planting can take place without such precautions, which adds to the cost of forestry.    The press of numbers does nothing for deer health and wellbeing either.
