Sharp angles

Many East Asian shoemakers are making shoes that are heavily chiseled. When made well, they can be beautiful.  When designed or executed poorly, however, they look fake and over-engineered.  These are right at that edge. Sometimes, I see beauty in them; and sometimes, I see rock faces.
