The Palace cinema is being restored to its Art Deco glory with the aid of lottery funding. Nothing seemed to be obviously happening for months so it was pleasing to see workmen there today.

Even though we've been through the death of a parent several times this one is a learning curve. Still no death certificate but it looks like we can deal with Wiltshire registrars rather than Worcestershire registrars once we hear more.

As we cannot sell the house prior to probate, there's no immediate hurry to get it cleared. 

And we think we may have a direct cremation. Dad told us last month that he has no preference as he will not be there in any form. He wasn't sentimental.
