Light of a candle...

for Mono Monday, with thanks to Heanku for kindly hosting this challenge.

Candles are not for everyone but the light can be comforting and gives a warm glow as well as casting shadows and interesting light on nearby objects. This candle holder takes one small tealight candle and sits on the mantlepiece giving the African carvings a bit of illumination. As they are dark wood I thought they'd be obliging for a mono image.
