Elegy in a Country Churchyard

A poem I studied at O level, with the inspirational Mr Langley... so when I realised I had several hours to get from NEC to Olympia, and that Naomi was away (fool, why didn't I organise something with her weeks ago?), I decided on an impromptu visit to St Giles, Stoke Poges - the setting for said poem (also the birthplace of my "first love", Katie Humphreys, met at South & West Bible Week 1985).
