Afternoon Tea at The Dome

Only in Edinburgh of course.

It was a very belated Christmas present for mum from last year. She wanted to go when the Christmas decorations were up and this was the earliest opportunity we had.

The train journey was just over an hour.
We stopped for a quick refreshment mid morning at Dishoom, a Bombay Cafe Bar and Dining room. I’d definitely go back there for a meal. They gave us our drinks for free, we left a decent tip.

We shopped and browsed until it was time for tea.

The Dome is pretty spectacular and if you ever get to go it worth a look.
Tea was ok (I’ve been spoiled by The Ritz). The sandwiches were fresh and the champagne was good.
