Afternoon walk

I ticked off a few indoor jobs in the morning, leaving myself free for a bit of gardening after lunch. According to the forecast, it was supposed to be dry all day, but after half an hour the clouds thickened and it started to rain. I persevered, thinking it wouldn’t last long, but my jacket was getting rather wet and Bertie was somewhat restless (despite having a much thicker coat than I did ) so I gave up and we retreated indoors. Even N came indoors at this point, having been cutting up a tree with neighbour J for several hours. Thankfully, it dried up for us to out for one last walk just as the light levels were dropping, and I managed to get a blip.
