Last event of the 2012 geocaching Mega event

We had a fantastic weekend with lots of lovely people. The Mega 2012 committee decided that with the surplus of funds they had from fund-raising, they would give something back to Cartmel as they were so welcoming!

The Committee funded a bench with a plaque (and travel bug !) and the rest went to the local Mountain Rescue teams.

A lovely way to tie things up.

The bench didn't have a permanent home, but it will have soon. Please look out for it if you are in the area!
