Humbleton Hill

An offer on the flat this morning from the lady who viewed on Saturday! It's somewhat lower than the asking price so we haven't accepted outright as yet, but fingers crossed...
We had previously come to the conclusion that we could forget about moving until after Christmas! Now we may need seriously to search for a property to buy.

Both unable to settle, and to make the most of the glorious weather, MrM and I decided to get out for a walk this afternoon. We went round the side of Humbleton Hill and up to St Cuthbert's Way. Before heading back to Wooler through the Common, we walked up to the high point on the track from where you can see across to the Newton Tors and Yeavering Bell, and looking back over the great expanse of heather is Humbleton Hill.
