Unseasonal Ladybird

The week started with coffee with my Monday friends, as usual, but in a different place. We went to the RNLI where there is a great view of the Twin Sails Bridge. It's been a good while since I've been there, so it made a welcome change.

This afternoon, I was trimming back the lavender when I spotted a ladybird. Most unexpected at this time of year, so I went inside to grab my camera and macro lens, whilst she waited patiently for my return :))

Another in extras - probably the prettier image with background bokeh but I liked the head on view that I've chosen as my main.
