Quite a busy and bonkers day. We set off by boat to Soufriere early birds.
It turned out to be a very sad little place.
Our feeling was the big resorts (like the one we’re staying in I’m ashamed to say) are taking from the town, and stopping it thrive, earn money or prosper.
We watched three huge catermaran arrive at the port, spew out tourists who then got funneled straight on to coaches…
We tried to buy in as many places as possible, to spread the love.
Thanks to Trip Advisor we sought out an Indian Fusion restaurant that served a tasting menu (many tiny dishes) served in the tree tops. Utterly delicious veggie feast. What a treat!

Of course the Queen is still on local money, but not for long I guess…
