Love language

Today I picked up a cheap soft rabbit toy for my oldest daughter. She loves rabbits!

She also loves gifts. She loves receiving gifts and she also loves giving them. She makes things for people all the time. She made cards for some of the kids in the street a few months ago and put a little present inside each one and went round posting them.

I remember at Christmas how excited she was to watch her brother open the gift she had got him. It was such a delight to watch.

Most kids enjoy giving and receiving gifts but when they do it all the time you can be pretty sure that it is going to be one of their main love languages.

The toy rabbit only actually cost £1 but I knew she would love it. I wrapped it and stuck a little note on the top to make it all the more exciting for her.

If your love language is gifts then getting a present when it is not your birthday or it is not Christmas is going to make you feel pretty special.

It worked.

I love that girl.
