Smack of cold temps today. The sun tried its best but as soon as it went down we dipped below zero again. A dash to catch the post office closing for a parcel to Australia resulted in me frantically scrapping this ice off. Made the post office in plenty of time still.

Every time the heating goes on, which is necessary, you do worry about the bill now. We were never frivolous with our energy use but have tried to reduce it was much as possible. This month our gas usage (heating and hot water) was 33% lower than last month. Yes, I keep a spreadsheet! But of course the bill will likely be more than ever.
