Exceeding expectations

We bought this amaryllis a few weeks ago from Lidl.  It had one bud, but I thought there was the possibility of a second flower stem (but it might have been a leaf).

Whoopee! Three flower stalks have emerged! Nice and festive looking, I'll have to try and keep it going for a few weeks yet.
