Splashed photography

Splashed photography you say - shouldn't that be splash photography?
Not when you get as closeup and personal as this!
I was caught unaware - although it should have been anticipated.
We were watching the rough waves splashing against the bottom of the wall on a rising tide and I was focused on what was in front of me rather than what was coming in from my left and this wave was a little bigger than previous ones. 
Gave me a bit of a start but didn't get too wet!
Sorry, it's not as sharp as I would have liked but think the camera did a pretty good job with autofocus in the short time.
