A Grave Gust
The wind was blowing with some verocity all day today, rattling, billowing, crashing agaist everything in sight.
I stopped by for a blessed blip in the grounds of the church on my journey back to flat after work. There was howling, scratching & creeking, and I'm not altogether sure it was the wind!?!?
I've opted for the simper, more stark tones of black & white in this shot. I've admired the creepy, creeping trees in the grounds for some time - they are quite something to look at, lining the path with their sturdy trunks but few slender, stretching branches. I like the shadows that are cast & the ominous feel that this creates. The clouds were out in full force for numerous spells today, but it was a shame they took this brief moment to more or less clear completely from view.
Ho-hum. 'Do the creep, hoo. Do the creep, hah.'
We caught up with the last episode of Season 2 of the new Dallas this evening - wowzers, what a fast paced, exciting & brilliant programme it is - you just can't help get involved in all the interwoven stories & sly, backstabbing characters. Bring on Season 3 next spring!
Random tonight, but such is blip. Goodnight!
