Mayfly in November

Got to love Florida.  Black Elderberry blooming and fruiting at the same time and Mayflies in November.  Life here is so RICH.
I took some lovely bird photos at Alexander Springs yesterday but this little critter, with such big eyes, won my heart.  It was only 10mm long, not counting the long tails.  
Anyone read the book "An Immense World" by Ed Yong?   Great chapter on vision and now I'm wondering what and how this mayfly sees.
