A good drive to Craignure for CP business, a dry morning, an enjoyable drive, the roads are quiet, the tide high, and a productive meeting.

Some weeks ago a local man who delivers goods from the mainland to islanders suggested we could buy many items he delivers from local suppliers, sometimes cheaper. I wish this was mentioned more often on local Facebook. Recently my hairdryer blew up, literally, with an added bang, made me jump I can you. (It was given to me in 1988, can’t complain). I popped into Browns in Tobermory and replaced it the same day. Just along the road the pharmacy has a few as well. Yesterday I called into Browns again looking for a platform weighing scales for baking, yes, they has one, it more or less what was needed and a lot cheaper than expected. Perhaps it will give up sooner, that’s fine, the old set just keep going - until a couple weeks ago.
