Treat Time

Unusual to be able to take two of my granddaughters to a cafe.
Kitty still not able to dance , shin splints still painful and it’s Verity’s day off from Northern Ballet.
Verity had done a mock GCSE in maths this afternoon so when l picked them up from school  l thought they both deserved a treat.
Cafe shut in my village so we went to Waitrose:  hot chocolate and cake for the girls, flat white and toasted panettone for me.
Kitty is having a sleep over and l will take her to school in the morning.
