I'm ready!
I'm ready for Christmas now.
Got myself a present. Had it wrapped and already forgot what's in there.
Will I be surprised on Christmas Eve!

The Palatinate was looking at the Kaiserslautern courthouse today, where the verdict for the murderer of the police murders from Kusel from Jan. 31 was spoken. A 24-year-old female police student and her colleague, a 29-year-old policeman on night shift were both killed, executed, shot in the head. Horrible details came out during the trial. The two suspects, poachers, had been out hunting together and had the car trunk full of dead animals when the police came across their parked car a little after 4 am in that night in January. The murderer, who was denying and putting up a show at court every single day of the trial, is going "lifelong" to prison (=15 years), but followed by preventive detention (what we were all hoping for!).
His "friend", the second accused man was found guilty, too. He didn't shoot, but also didn't prevent the murders. But no prison for him.
We have all been following the month-long trial. My nephew, who is also a young policeman at the same little police station, was "through the wind" for a long time after all this happened.
