Lock

One of our favourite pubs is beside a lock on the River Wey Navigation near Pyrford. The water was flowing fast after a recent wet few weeks. We were at the pub for one of our monthly lunches with M and C. The journey home was quite spectacular as a low level of mist was forming over the water meadows. The clear sky was turning orange near the horizon and the newly bare trees were beautifully silhouetted. Sadly the road was narrow and filled with traffic so there was no chance of a Blipfoto.
