Christmas meal W.I.

Been with the W.I. today for a Christmas carvery lunch in the trainee students restaurant at the Lakes college.
We were waited on by first year students, some who were still quite shy.
The main meal and starter were perfect and the sweets were scrumptious.
The second and third  year students who were working behind the scenes in the kitchen came out after the meal to chat with us and get some feed back. In true chefs secrecy they were unwilling to share the recipe for the crispy cinnamon shortbread  that some of the ladies had enjoyed with their choice of sweet. I had chocolate orange cheese cake made and decorated with real oranges, lovely with a nice citrus tang.
The food and chat was so good, I forgot to get any pictures of it.
