At the Pond

It's a dreary, windy and slightly rainy day here in normally sunny Gainesville. On my way home from a doctor's appt I stopped by Soulliere Pond (aka Home Depot's water retention pond) to check out any bird-life possibilities. The usual suspects; Crows, White Ibis and Muscovy Ducks were present. But as I scanned the pond I spotted several solitaire Greater Yellowlegs and a few Killdeer. I promised myself that next time I visit The Pond, I'd have a longer lens on board. I ought to know better.
